EVA membrane material EVA is from ethylene and vinyl acetate copolymerization. The composition of EVA copolymer is different, the properties of resin also change. With the increase of vinyl acetate, the elasticity and softness of the resin were improved, and the solubility in organic solvent was enhanced. On the contrary, with the increase of ethylene content, resin rigidity, wear resistance, electrical insulation has been improved. EVA agricultural film containing 10 ~ 20% vinyl acetate has very good transparency and weather resistance, so it is particularly suitable for use as agricultural film.

EVA film type and molding process is similar to polyethylene film. The common molding methods of EVA single-layer film are blow molding method and t-type die head method. EVA multi-layer composite film is commonly formed by co-extrusion method, coating method and bonding lamination method.

Compared with PVC film, EVA film will not release toxic gas when waste film is burned, and EVA film does not have plasticizer leakage problem, so it has good dust resistance. Compared with PE film, EVA film insulation is better, and a variety of resins and additives compatibility is good, therefore, EVA film is often used to blend with other resins modified film or composite film. EVA film can be used to cover greenhouse and plastic shed, but also can be used as mulch.
